My Thoughts:

I received this book from the author, J. Meyer in exchange for an honest review (Thank You!), when I first read the summary for this book I didn't really know what to expect from it and I was so surprised by all of the events that happened and where the story went, I loved it!

We first meet Sera, who is a heals people with just the touch of her hand, physical or emotional pain, she can take it away. You immediately see what type of person Sera is, she is compassionate and empathetic, just an all around kind soul, I really loved her. We then meet her twin Luke who has the power to see the future through visions. Some of his visions come about where what he sees is going to happen in a matter of minutes and some of them happen weeks before the event is supposed to occur, and he has not been able to stop any of them from happening. Luke and Sera are as close as brothers and sisters could be and best friends, they are the only two people ( or so they think) that know each other's abilities and what they can do. Luke seemed like the total all American boy, he was good looking, smart, funny, and athletic.  I really enjoyed getting to see the relationship that they both had with each other and how close they were, they knew they could always count on one another.

Luke has a vision and it's the worse one yet because, he sees his sister die. He becomes so worried because he doesn't know what to do, he hasn't been able to change the future yet and he can't lose her yet. Now a few of the supporting characters I really loved also, Luke and Sera's best friend Fey, who is also their protector (although they don't know that) she was pretty much their only friend and they were always together, Fey definitely seemed like a beautiful and amazing girl and you could tell how much she carried for Luke and Sera both. Also, she is an elf, not like Santa's of course but, I could totally just picture her as some beautiful girl with pointy ears lol. My other favorite supporting character was Jonas, who is a vampire. The whole vampire aspect totally through me off because I was not expecting it in this story at all, but he wasn't an Edward, so I liked that. He becomes a very important person in the story and it surprised me how much I started to like him especially towards the end. I know that something is definitely brewing between him and Sera, can't wait to see where their relationship goes.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, the plot was fast paced, and it moved along so well, you never got caught up in having  to read all about the back-story and it was told really well along the way. The action starts right in the first few pages. If you like paranormal stories, filled with action, and vampires being vampires then you should really check it out!
