Blog Tour Bound By Prophecy By: Melissa Wright

Synopsis via Goodreads:

Twenty-two-year-old Aern is done watching his brother destroy the only thing that matters. He never wanted to take Morgan's place among council, never wanted to rule their hidden world. But when the key to the prophecy is found, a young girl named Brianna whom Morgan will destroy, Aern knows he has to take action. What he really wants is for things to go back to normal. But now he’s kidnapped a girl, and his brother's men are after him. His only hope is to join with the Division, but they have plans of their own, and it's the last thing Aern is willing to do. Emily just wants her sister back. She doesn't care about the prophecy, or know what's at stake. But when she goes after Aern, the truth of the matter uncoils, and Brianna isn't the only one who's in danger. Suddenly, they’re at the center of a secret war, and unless they can work together, they'll both have a sacrifice too big to make.

My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

My Review:

Bound By Prophecy starts off with a bang, you get to jump right into the action and it was definitely engaging right from the start, Melissa Wright created an action packed story that I enjoyed and kept reading till the end.

I really enjoyed the plot of this one, although because the books starts off with so much action, I was a bit confused with the overall plot of the story. You learn a lot about our main character Aern  and the prophecy that he is trying to stop, their was so much action and information thrown in together, but eventually I did get into the plot and everything started to make sense.

Aern was an interesting main character to say the least, he was definitely torn between his brother and the fact that he had to work against his brother and do what he believed was right even though his whole life he had grown up believing in the prophecy he is now working against.

Brianna and her sister play a huge part in the prophecy and I really liked them,  they loved each other very much and were willing to do anything for each other, they had some interesting twists that made them even more fasinating to me and they were definitely a couple of my favorite characters in the book.

Overall, Bound By Prophecy was an action packed read and I enjoyed it. It felt like a whirlwind of a story from beginning to end and it was a  quick and easy read.
