The Dead
Girl's Detective Agency was such a fun read! I loved the entire story and I
loved getting to know each and every character and their story, it was a great
summer read and full of fun.
Charlotte is
dead, she was pushed in front of a subway train on her way home from school,
she doesn't know who would want to kill her and even the police believe it was
an accident. When Charlotte wakes, she is told she is dead, by a group of other
girls who are also dead, they are ghosts and their job is to help her solve her
murder, so she can get her key, and continue on to the other side. Every
teenager who is murder comes to this group of girls, helping each one find
their key and solve their murders is their job, are they very good at it? that
could be debatable but, it was so much fun to watch them figure it out. Full of
girl drama and fun, I read this one super quick.
I loved
reading this one because it was so light and fun, there wasn't anything super
serious about the plot or the story and it kept me reading despite the
lightness of it, each girl of the detective agency was so distinct and had
their own personality and reasons for not moving onto the other side or finding
out who murdered them and getting to know each girl was one of the best parts. I
was a little disappointed by the main character Charlotte, only because she
didn't really seem to care that much about who murdered her or figuring any of
the mystery out through most of the book.
Overall,
this book was a fun read, definitely a teenage read though, the dialogue and a
lot of the issues were teenage related and although I am not a teen anymore I
still had fun reading it, I recommend this book to anyone wanting a quick and
light hearted read that just wants to have fun, if that's what you're looking
for then definitely check it out!

I love reading quick, easy, fun (fluffy) reads with nothing serious to it. Those are always great for a lazy afternoon. :) This book sounds very interesting, I just like the premise of it. Great review.
