My Thoughts: 

I loved this book so much! Wendy Higgin's take on angels was fresh, new, and completely entertaining. As we all know angels are a big thing in YA and I have read many of the books that are out there, and for once it wasn't the same as the others. I had such a hard time putting down the book while reading,  I was swooning over Kaiden and so curious about what was going to happen next.

Anna is adopted by a wonderful woman who loves her so much and they have such a good relationship. Anna is a good girl, who always does the right thing and pushes the people around her to do the right thing.  Everything changes when Anna meets Kaiden Rowe, a drummer for a popular band and a British swoony boy. Kaiden recognizes her for who she is a Nephilim, just like him. The most awesome part in my opinion was that their jobs were to be bad influences on humans depending on what sin their dad's were in charge of. Anna's heritage is a little bit more complicated and had me so curious. 

I really enjoyed Anna's character, she was a good person and it really radiated through the book, she loved her friends and her family and would do anything to make them happy. She held herself well most of the time and she was very compassionate, the reason that I could relate to her so much is she let her emotions show regularly and I am the same way, I tend to ugly cry a lot especially when reading, watching movies and TV. I can't explain to you why Anna was this way but, I loved it.

Kaiden Rowe, isn't that just a sexy name. He was drawn to Anna in so many ways, she made him want to be a different person and I loved the person that he was when he was around Anna. He was also very torn between wanting to be different from who he was but, also do what was expected of him as his father's son. He is definitely one of my favorite book boyfriends. 

Overall, Sweet Evil is amazing. It is not your average angel book and you haven't read another one like it before. Sweet Peril comes out in April and I already have it on pre-order so I can begin reading it the day it comes out, I can't wait to have me some more Kaiden. I highly recommend this book!!! Read it now!
