Since I am a new blogger and I haven't even had my blog for a month yet, I would love for tips and suggestions from anyone who is willing to help. Yay a newbie! The biggest advice I can give you is stick with it. In the beginning I only had few followers but I kept writing. When I started gaining followers, I had lots of stuff for them to read!

I'm pretty new to it too, but if I had to give a tip, it would be this: Have fun with it. I know it sounds kind of funny, but it's the best thing I found to do. There's so many things to do in the book blogging world, you might as well do what you like! If you love reading self-published books, go for it. If you want to do one meme but not another, it's your choice. If what really makes you happy is getting more followers, go out and advertise your blog and make some great friends. There's no set way to run a blog, so have the most fun you can doing it your way. (:
ReplyDeleteI think you actually did the perfect thing already and asked for help. oô But then, I consider myself a newbie as well and think there are many things that will only then stick to you if you have done some mistakes and learned your lesson, but so far I think all the blogging tips I have read today were great.
ReplyDeleteSomeone said commenting was important, which I definitely agree on. Just hop around and say something. And then, obviously, the captcha thing. Most bloggers don't even know that their visitors have to fill it out each and everytime, which sorta sucks. LOL
Anyway, in the end it's supposed to be fun, and the beginning might be a little awkward. *grin*
